Ku Cisco Anyconnect
After you have installed the Cisco AnyConnect (VPN Client) you will need to launch the program. You will connect to kuanywhere.ku.edu, click “Connect”, and enter your KU Online ID. One type of message is: 'AnyConnect cannot confirm it is connected to your secure gateway. The local network may not be trustworthy. Please try another network.' Conditions: When the server certificate's EKU or KU (Extended Key Usage, Key Usage, respectively) settings do not match the expectations of the AnyConnect client. When you sign in to a KU Internet connection, you are leaving a digital footprint that can be traced back to you. It is highly recommend that you log out of or disconnect from the KU VPN service when it is no longer needed.

When you are working offsite or are not connected to Jayhawk wireless, you will need to use KU’s VPN, KU Anywhere, to access the KU network remotely. Once you connect with the VPN, all the resources that are available to you while on campus will be available to you remotely. To get started, you’ll need to download the VPN software on your machine.
